Session Description This session will cover the adoption of code generation techniques across a team with more than 100 developers. Code generation started with simple custom code templates run against databases, expanded to simple xml languages fed to CodeSmith templates, and has now become the primary form of application modeling through domain specific languages. The session will cover the challenges with adopting code generation as a key factor in software development, with particular emphasis on changes to the development process and organizational barriers.
